Data collected, purposes and destinations
The Customer provides hestiia with personal data (contact details, information relating to its habitat) during the conclusion and execution of the Contract. This information collected from the Customer is grouped together in a computerized file and managed by hestiia and is processed for the main purposes of:
- Respond to requests for contact and feasibility studies: the data collected makes it possible to contact the Customer to respond to his requests for contact and feasibility study (on the legal basis of article 6.1.b of the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data)
- Manage orders: the data is necessary for the processing of orders, in particular for their delivery, installation, invoicing, etc. (on the legal basis of article 6.1.b of the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data)
- Manage after-sales service: the data makes it possible to ensure better management of complaints, better follow-up of files, etc. (on the legal basis of article 6.1.b of the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data)
- Customer registration on the dedicated application: the data is required for the activation and use of the application. This requires a unique combination of a username and password, called identifia hestiia.
In the event that the customer does not provide this data, hestiia will not be able to carry out the corresponding missions.
- Send a newsletter with hestiia news (on the legal basis of article 6.1.a of the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data)
This data may be communicated to any subcontractors in a secure manner for the purposes of the execution of the Contract.
Some features of the Product may require information about the Device to improve their respective functions. When the Customer activates or uses these functionalities, details are provided concerning the information sent to hestiia and how this information is used.
The Product collects the following data: temperatures, running times, internet data consumption, calculation time.
- data from sensors such as the temperature of the electronic cards, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the device, the control of the temperature as well as the detection of technical problems
- operating system and Hestiia software logs, calculation card logs in order to detect and solve possible technical problems, to allow the calculation of financial compensation as well as for statistical purposes
- statuses of the various modules in order to ensure the proper functioning of the Product and to allow preventive maintenance
This data is processed for the main purposes to optimize the functioning of the Products thanks to the Research and Development work of hestiia (on the legal basis of article 6.1.f of the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data).
This list of information collected is subject to change according to the development of Software and Devices. The Customer will be notified of any change concerning this personal data, in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 of the Terms and Conditions of Use of the Software.
Retention periods
Personal data is kept for the period necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned and in view of the current prescription and legal obligations to keep certain contracts/data.
Personal data is retained with all appropriate physical, technical and organizational measures to ensure their security and confidentiality in view of the ward against loss, accidental destruction, alteration and unauthorized access.
Transfer outside the EU
Some data may be processed from time to time by certain service providers located outside the European Union if the processing is necessary for the performance of hestiia's obligations.
